Registered Nurse - Part-time - Edmonds

Compass Health is currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) in Edmonds!

What you will be performing

As a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, the RN provides nursing care and supervision of the treatment of patients, administration of oral and injectable psychiatric and medical medications in office, and oversees compliance with medication schedule.

The team you will be joining

Our Residential Treatment Facilities (RTFs) serve adults age 18 and over diagnosed with severe and persistent psychiatric disorders. Services include assessment, psychiatric evaluation, medication monitoring, case management, counseling, groups, mental health education, crisis resolution, and skills training regarding activities of daily living. The program focuses on helping residents reach increasing levels of recovery in order to successfully transition back into the community.

What you will be carrying along

• Current Washington State Registered Nurse License.
• Previous psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification and Food Handlers permit, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Thorough knowledge of nursing issues pertaining to the patient population served in the program along with thorough understanding of the nursing process and intervention strategies used to address these issues.
• Thorough knowledge of involuntary commitment laws.
• Ability to maintain a positive, solution-focused demeanor when responding to conflicts or problems.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• General computer proficiency, including the ability to utilize electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background check.
