Compass Health is currently looking for an Registered Nurse to join our Snohomish PACT team.

The team you will be joining

The Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) is an evidence-based intensive outpatient treatment program designed to assist adults overcome the barriers to their recovery from severe and persistent behavioral health disorders.

The program operates with a strength-based and person-centered approach and is targeted to individuals with severe behavioral health disorders who exhibit continuous high service needs, who have experienced multiple inpatient psychiatric hospitalizations, and who have been unable to benefit from more traditional outpatient behavioral healthcare.

What you will be performing

As a member of the PACT team, the RN provides direct nursing services to clients in the PACT program. The RN works in collaboration with the PACT Manager, the PACT Prescriber, and the Director of Nursing to ensure high quality care to PACT clients. The RN provides services which are congruent with the mission and objectives of the treatment team and the organization, and that are consistent with all applicable laws, regulations, rules and contracts.

What you will be carrying along

• Current Washington State RN license.
• 2+ years of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• Qualifies as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) as defined by WAC preferred.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License including vehicle and appropriate insurance, if applicable.
• Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background check, which may or may not include an additional search by DSHS.

• Thorough knowledge of nursing issues pertaining to the client population served in the program along with thorough understanding of the nursing process and intervention strategies used to address these issues.
• Demonstrated knowledge regarding the management of challenging behaviors.
• Skilled in administering medications.
• Demonstrated success in administrative supervision with effective leadership skills.
• Ability to participate in 24/7 on-call pager rotation.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with complex needs and multi-system involvement.
• Ability to maintain a positive, solution-focused demeanor when responding to conflicts or problems.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• General computer proficiency, including the ability to utilize electronic medical record systems.
